The interview went very well, but the process was too long, taking around 2 months. The HR point of contact helped me a lot in understanding the interview steps, and I am really grateful to her. She tried her best.
First, I had to go through the Karat.io technical round.
On passing that, I had an interview date where there were two rounds:
Then, HR informed me that my browser coding round was not very impressive, but my Javascript round was promising enough to carry on to the next rounds.
The next round was a System Design round, where I had to draw and design a system on Excalidraw (to create a JIRA ticketing system with To-Do, In Progress, and Deployed columns).
I was then informed about the last two rounds: Value and Ethics, and Managerial Round. Those rounds were very simple.
Unfortunately, I was not selected because my browser coding round was weak and my notice period is 3 months (I made the mistake of saying it couldn't be negotiated at the beginning of my interview sessions).
This was more of a question. They provided a code snippet to evaluate your understanding of callbacks, async/await, and Promises concepts.
