Solutions Architect Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

This was the stupidest and longest interview process ever in my life.

You can get three different jobs for the length of one job interview here.

It involved:

  • HR screening
  • Hiring manager interview
  • Technical interview
  • Take-home assessment
  • Panel interview with 5-6 people
  • Then one more team member from the business sales team
  • Then one more, and one more.

It kept going.

In the end, when they were finally ready to offer, they asked for references even before giving an offer. The hiring manager then reached out to all the references with a 30-minute call each.

How much free time do they have?

So much micromanagement at the time of taking interviews itself.

Questions

Spark related questions. Architecture related questions. Constant meetings with HM before the panel interview to take their feedback and prepare accordingly.
