As a fast-growing company in a boring, hype-free domain that's largely resistant to downturns (unlike crypto, AI, D2C, SaaS, etc.), I feel like job security here is pretty solid in engineering unless a tail risk event wipes out the company.
At this rate, I feel like stock options should print pretty good $ if you have the patience to grind it out another 3-5 years. Base pay is competitive.
It used to be more chill before a lot of culture-defining OGs left and externally hired middle management took over. It totally bought into the "DEI-industrial complex" without much to actually show for it. (Though, to be fair, the engineering team, including leadership, does feel less white/male than at other companies.) You actually have to work pretty hard here to stay afloat; it will be very hard to coast by on 20-30 hour weeks like I know is possible at other companies.
I had a call with a recruiter first, then a coding interview with two other software engineers. The question was a standard algorithms and data structures question about finding a time to schedule an appointment, given a list of booked time slots.
Interviewers beware, prepare to be strung along and duped at the last moment. I was told I passed all my interviews with strong feedback, passed all my reference checks (which, what company asks for real reference checks in this day and age?), and h
I received an email from a recruiter at Headway and went through the whole process, which took about 2-3 weeks from initial contact to an offer. The whole process was pretty standard: * Initial screen with a recruiter; basic questions about the r
