I had two 30-minute interviews with a software architect and my to-be manager.

We spoke mostly about the product and the team, and discussed some problem-solving questions related to the product.

Questions

Each participant had one technical question and a 15-minute discussion on potential solutions, with some whiteboard coding for specific parts of the solution.

Pros: Work from home, in my case, along with many out there. That's it.

Cons: Managers do not care for you. What matters is the stock price, and they will lay off anyone to achieve their numbers. No matter if you are the most experienced, they will not access that fact and will let you go instead of letting go of one or even five people who have less combined knowledge than you. Low pay, even if you are there for a long time and have gained a lot of experience.

IBM Interview Questions

Integer to Roman

Convert a given integer into its Roman numeral representation. You need to understand the mapping between integer values and Roman symbols to perform the conversion accurately.

Exclusive Time of Functions

Calculate the exclusive execution time for each function given a series of log entries marking function calls and returns. The exclusive time is the time spent within a function, not including time spent in its callees.

Fizz Buzz

Write a program that prints numbers from 1 to n, replacing multiples of 3 with "Fizz", multiples of 5 with "Buzz", and multiples of both with "FizzBuzz".
