IBM has been a great company to start my career. I graduated with a B.S. Computer Science degree, and IBM is my first job using that degree. They are a great company for those willing to learn and work.
Same as probably any large company. Promotions and pay raises are usually rolled out on a schedule, but you can climb faster if you provide value and work hard.
Just remember to be your own advocate, and if you honestly believe you're undervalued, then bring it up. I personally have been well taken care of by a great manager.
The number of interviews you might have during the IBM graduate recruitment process will vary according to the job you’re applying for, whether in consulting or technology. You could have up to three: * A video interview (or video assessment) *
The interviewer was friendly and personable, but the entire process around the interview felt incredibly formulaic. Though they eventually made me an offer, I felt as though they didn't do a thorough job of highlighting the work and responsibilities
It took a few months before I got an interview. You'll go through a behavioral and a technical interview. The behavioral interview had very detailed situational questions. The technical interview asked very basic and beginner programming questions.
