This isn't really an interview, but I didn't know where else to write about this problem. I have been contacted several times via email from this company. Their emails state that they feel I am a good candidate for position "xxx". I thought Indeed was a reputable company, so I applied. Usually, I have to fill out additional questions, etc.
A couple of hours later, I got an email saying they needed more information, another questionnaire. Before I could complete it, I received the email: "Thank you for applying, but..."
Like many who frequent their site, I am looking for work. I am currently employed, but my company is closing my location down. I have a stress level right now that no one should have to deal with because I am in a very specific industry, and it is very hard to find a position where my experience translates to another industry.
These phishing tactics get my hopes up, only for them to let me down. It's not a very nice thing to do to someone already dealing with a lot of stress job hunting!
Many "more info" questions and emails received.
