Morgan Stanley's external recruiter ghosted me.
I was approached by an external recruiter for Morgan Stanley. We had an initial phone conversation, and I passed my CV on to the recruiter to pass it to the team at MS. I was initially told that my CV did not have enough keywords to guarantee an application.
I was then given a Codility test, which I completed. Unlike other Codility tests I have done, I was not given any automated feedback screen on Codility. Instead, there was a message telling me to check back soon.
Several days passed, and I did not hear from the external recruiter. When I followed up, I was told that there were several candidates in their pipeline they were waiting to hear back from. Nothing happened afterwards. I would have appreciated it if they had told me that their pipeline was closed, i.e., they were not hiring anymore.
It is just a shame that prior to the sudden silence, the external recruiter was in constant contact with me, showing keenness, only to forget about my existence once they got what they needed.
Codility: a "find the bug" problem, followed by displaying data in an ASCII table in Python (with alignment/justification).
