Ridiculous, stay away. If you want details, read on.
The hiring process consisted only of three interviews:
There was no live coding test, home assignment, or whatsoever. A whole week passed between stages.
After the interviews, I was semi-ghosted, like many other candidates here. There was no news until I sent an email each Thursday. They usually replied on Friday evening, stating that "feedback was really good" and I'd be "a great addition to the company," and that they would have a response "early next week." Then, I was ghosted again until my Thursday email.
This went on for three weeks. After that, they told me they went ahead with another candidate and apologized, explaining that they "went through all openings but unfortunately, they didn't have any other openings right now that would be a fit." A quick search on LinkedIn revealed up to 12 positions where I'd be anywhere between a nice to an excellent fit. Twelve!
They offered to keep me in mind for future opportunities, to which I replied, "Thanks, but no thanks; I'd rather not apply here again."
The usual:
Nothing really technical. No coding test.
