The most important part of a job for me is the people. Work is where we spend the majority of our waking hours, and if the people at your workplace aren't positive and helpful, your life really suffers.
My experience is that Stripe takes care in hiring good people that care about their work and treat each other with kindness. There's a buzzy energy about the place—lots of things are going on.
The development environment can be slow at times, but this is the natural result of fast growth, and management is highly focused on addressing this issue.
