I applied on the Uber Careers website and received an email after a month to schedule an interview.
The interview was with the lead software engineer of the team. He was a very nice person and gave me honest feedback on my mistakes.
Questions
Write a function similar to Promise.all in JavaScript, but it should only run N processes at a time.

Pros: Challenging problems to solve, smartest coworkers in the business, beautiful office space.
Lots to keep an engineer busy, as evident by the growing number of 4+ year employees (only a 5-year-old company!).
Cons: Lots of work, passionate coworkers, and tireless management lead to work-life balance difficulties. Luckily, most days, being in the office with coworkers is more stress-relieving than holing up in a coffee shop to work by yourself.

- Growth opportunity for interns.
- Learning chance.
Cons: - Interns are rarely seen, so your working hours don't matter; the team doesn't make an effort to get to know you or involve you in discussions/meetings.
- The company preaches diversity, but it's not diverse at all, neither in women, Black people, people with disabilities, or LGBTQ+ individuals, especially in engineering.
