Cloud Systems Engineer

Addepar is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to join their Trading team. They're building a scalable, tax-efficient trading & rebalancing platform for wealth management firms of all sizes. The platform will target sophisticated rebalancing strategies across many financial vehicles and will join their suite of products provided for customers at the highest achievable uptime.

The ideal candidate loves building reliable and resilient systems and can amplify their skills through the team. They'll work closely with data systems, development, and product to deliver a more modern and dependable infrastructure. The engineering team primarily works in Java, ReactJS, Terraform, and AWS, using Agile methodologies to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with product owners and product design to implement cloud hosting strategy
• Becoming an authority in Terraform, AWS, and ArgoCD
• Enabling engineering teams to deliver resilient solutions quickly and efficiently
• Helping drive inclusive and dynamic engineering culture
• Developing pragmatic solutions to sophisticated problems

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a professional systems engineer
• Experience with Linux Administration, Postgres, and Cloud Infrastructure Systems (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Familiarity with Terraform, TeamCity, and other modern infrastructure automation tooling
• Experience with finance is a plus
