Manager, Software Engineering - ML AI DG Platform

Addepar is hiring a hands-on engineering manager to lead exciting data initiatives. This role focuses on creating solutions for Machine Learning, AI, and Data Governance. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in platform management, particularly in enabling ML and AI outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with product managers and technical partners to identify requirements and map out solutions
• Gaining knowledge of core Addepar systems, including the Addepar Data Lakehouse
• Creating platform-based solutions for ML and AI
• Reducing complexity through strategic data architecture
• Enabling data governance outcomes

The role requires expertise in cloud contexts, automated infrastructure, and service-oriented architecture. Experience with Data Governance initiatives and improving data outcomes is essential. Knowledge of PySpark and Databricks is preferred.
