Responsibilities For Automation Engineer (firefly.com)

  • Own quality of feature/application end to end
  • Understand user set and domain
  • Prepare, execute test plans, test specifications, estimations & test reports
  • File accurate, comprehensive bug reports, and verify fixes
  • Review and triage test failures; reproduce, debug, isolate problems
  • Work with team to analyze risk with the release
  • Balance multiple challenging priorities in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment
  • Stay updated on the latest standard methodologies in QE

Requirements For Automation Engineer (firefly.com)

JavaScript
Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of testing experience in web applications/cloud solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks like Jenkins, Selenium, Playwright, and AI-powered testing tools
  • At least 1 year of team lead experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages, preferably JavaScript / Python
  • Knowledge of JIRA and its basic workflows
  • Familiarity with different browsers & OS like Windows, Mac, mobile platforms
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
