Director of Engineering, Customer Engagements

Adobe is seeking a customer-centric Engineering Director to lead their Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) engineering initiatives across EMEA. This role combines technical leadership with customer engagement, focusing on ensuring enterprise customers realize the full value of the AEP platform.

The position involves working at the intersection of customer success and technical innovation, supporting complex AEP implementations and championing AI/ML capabilities. The director will serve as a crucial bridge between EMEA customers, local engineering teams in Bucharest, and global partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading customer engagements in EMEA, participating in solution pitches, POCs, and post-sales implementations
• Championing AEP AI Agents rollout to EMEA customers
• Collaborating with Adobe engineering and GTM teams across regions
• Leading a team of Solution Architects, Engineering Managers, and Senior Technical Leads
• Developing technical strategies aligned with customer needs and Adobe's product direction

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of engineering leadership experience, strong customer-facing technical expertise, and demonstrated ability to lead cross-regional teams. They should have deep understanding of AI/ML technologies in marketing/customer experience domains.
