Adobe's Firefly Generative AI Services team is seeking Senior Machine Learning Engineers to build and scale cutting-edge generative AI systems that power features across Adobe's flagship products including Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Stock, and Premiere.
In this high-impact role, you'll work with talented engineers to design and develop scalable, high-performance generative AI systems. Your responsibilities will include building efficient inference pipelines, optimizing models for latency and throughput, and creating APIs that seamlessly integrate both Adobe's first-party and third-party generative models into Adobe's product suite serving individual and enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of machine learning experience with a focus on production deployments, plus 2+ years specifically leading GPU-intensive GenAI systems. You should be well-versed in frameworks like PyTorch, CUDA, and TensorRT, with a strong understanding of generative model architectures including diffusion models and transformers. Experience with model serving, orchestration, and MLOps at scale is highly valued.
This is an opportunity to tackle Adobe's most complex engineering challenges at the forefront of generative AI, while setting technical direction and mentoring other ML engineers. You'll collaborate closely with Adobe Research and model development teams to productize cutting-edge models and create scalable inference strategies.

Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer, Adobe Firefly Services
- Design and develop core GenAI services and APIs that integrate generative models into Adobe's flagship products
- Design and build ML workflows for enterprise-scale model customization, serving, and ecosystem integration
- Collaborate with Adobe Research and model developer teams on model inference strategies and productization
- Build and optimize GPU-accelerated pipelines for model training and inference
- Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer, Adobe Firefly Services
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field—or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, including production-scale deployments
- 2+ years of experience leading large-scale, GPU-intensive GenAI systems
- Experience with GenAI frameworks like PyTorch, CUDA, Triton, TensorRT, Nvidia Dynamo, and Python
- Good understanding of generative model architectures including diffusion models, transformers, and GANs
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Experience with model serving, inference, orchestration, and GPU resource management (preferred)
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, distributed systems, and MLOps platforms (preferred)
