Senior Design Engineer, Android

Adobe Design is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their Spectrum Design System team, focusing on Android UI component engineering. This role bridges design and technology, providing Adobe with tools, components, infrastructure, and services that enable design precision and consistent, fully accessible user experiences across products.

The position involves building Spectrum-based Android components and helping mobile product teams use them effectively. Key responsibilities include participating in feature discovery, system architecture, requirements definition, project scope, and delivery planning. The role is crucial in ensuring Spectrum's timely, stable, and scalable availability for customers.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience (3+ years) in building performant and complex UI components in the Android ecosystem, with direct experience using Android Studio, Kotlin, and Java. They should have a meticulous attention to design details and experience building/supporting frameworks used by other developers.
