Software Development Engineer

Adobe is seeking an experienced web front-end engineer to join their Creative Cloud Express team in building a new creativity platform that will help define the future of Creative Cloud and Adobe's Digital Media business.

The role focuses on building cloud-native systems that work seamlessly across devices, making it fast, fun, and streamlined to build sophisticated-looking content. You'll be working on reimagining how people discover, build, and publish various media types - from graphics to imaging to video - right in the browser and on mobile devices.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll collaborate with researchers, engineers, UX designers and product managers to prototype and build next-generation web applications. The role requires strong technical leadership to solve ambitious design problems and deliver best-in-class user experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities include influencing design thinking among development teams, participating in pair programming and peer reviews, and delivering responsive, scalable solutions ready for mass audience. You'll also provide recommendations on product improvements based on analytics, user research, and community feedback.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience building web applications, with strong skills in JavaScript/HTML/CSS and modern frameworks like React. You should have deep knowledge of web technologies including DOM, canvas, WebGL rendering, security, and performance optimization. Experience with accessibility standards and attention to visual design details are essential.
