Adobe Firefly's Generative AI Services team is seeking Senior Machine Learning Engineers to build scalable, high-performance generative AI systems that power features across Adobe's flagship products including Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Stock, and Premiere.
In this high-impact role, you will work with a talented team of engineers to design and develop efficient inference pipelines, optimize models for latency and throughput, and build APIs that integrate both Adobe's first-party and third-party generative models. You'll be tackling Adobe's most complex engineering challenges at the forefront of the generative AI industry.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience building production ML systems, particularly with generative models and GPU acceleration. You should be well-versed in frameworks like PyTorch, CUDA, and TensorRT, with a strong understanding of model architectures like diffusion models and transformers. Experience with model serving, MLOps, and distributed systems is highly valuable.
As a senior engineer, you'll help set technical direction and mentor other ML engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You'll collaborate closely with Adobe Research and model development teams to productize cutting-edge generative AI capabilities.

Responsibilities For Sr. Machine Learning Engineer, Adobe Firefly Services
- Design and develop core GenAI services and APIs that integrate generative models into Adobe's flagship products
- Design and build ML workflows for enterprise-scale model customization, serving, and ecosystem integration
- Collaborate with Adobe Research and model developer teams on model inference strategies and productization
- Build and optimize GPU-accelerated pipelines for model training and inference
- Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
Requirements For Sr. Machine Learning Engineer, Adobe Firefly Services
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field—or equivalent industry experience
- 7+ years of experience in machine learning, including production-scale deployments
- 3+ years of experience leading large-scale, GPU-intensive GenAI systems
- Experience with GenAI frameworks like PyTorch, CUDA, Triton, TensorRT, Nvidia Dynamo, and Python
- Good understanding of generative model architectures including diffusion models, transformers, and GANs
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Experience with model serving, inference, orchestration preferred
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, distributed systems, and MLOps platforms preferred
