Description For Founding Engineer (US)

Aglide is revolutionizing how companies maintain access security with their pioneering agentic SSO technology. As a founding engineer, you'll be joining at a crucial early stage to help build and shape the future of the company.

The company has developed a novel solution that connects any app to a company's SSO without using traditional protocols like SAML. This innovation has already attracted significant interest from unicorn/decacorn customers, leading to 6-figure deals. Having recently secured a $3+ million seed round, Aglide is relocating their HQ to San Francisco and aims to build a unicorn.

Your role will be highly impactful, going beyond just writing code. You'll:

  • Directly engage with high-profile customers to understand their security challenges
  • Design and implement solutions rapidly
  • Help shape the product direction and company culture
  • Work with cutting-edge technology in a zero-trust, end-to-end encrypted environment

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with full-stack development (Node/Express, Postgres, React) and have a product-minded approach. Experience with TypeScript, Electron, web automation (especially Puppeteer), and Chrome Extensions would be highly valuable. Knowledge of security systems, particularly zero-trust and end-to-end encryption, is a plus.

This is an early-stage role that offers significant growth potential. While the environment is unstructured, you'll have the opportunity to define the future of a rapidly growing startup. The company values quick iteration and shipping fast, while maintaining high security standards.

The position offers competitive compensation, including equity that makes you feel like a true owner. For international candidates, there's potential for US visa sponsorship, particularly for those willing to start in the London office before relocating to SF. Additional benefits include private medical insurance, necessary equipment/tools, team meals, and flexible remote work options.

Join Aglide to be part of a team that's tackling significant security challenges in innovative ways, working with impressive customers, and building something truly revolutionary in the SSO space.
