Staff Android Engineer, Guest Displays & Platforms

Airbnb, a global leader in the hospitality platform space connecting millions of hosts with guests worldwide, is seeking a Staff Android Engineer for their Guest Displays & Platforms team. This role is integral to the team that owns the main Product Details Page (PDP) and manages guest pricing and availability across all Airbnb product surfaces.

As a Staff Android Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining critical user-facing components that drive the guest booking flow. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies like Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers. The role requires a strong background in Android development with at least 9 years of experience, demonstrating both technical excellence and leadership capabilities.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $204,000 to $255,000 USD, along with additional benefits including equity, bonuses, and Employee Travel Credits. This is a remote-eligible position within the United States, offering flexibility while maintaining connection with the broader Airbnb team through occasional office visits and offsites.
