Senior Software Engineer - Security Engineering

Airwallex, a leading global payments and financial platform valued at US$5.6 billion, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Security Engineering team. The position involves leading the development of security tools and applications, supporting incident response efforts, and building robust infrastructure systems. You'll work with Kubernetes clusters, serverless workloads, and ETL pipelines, while having the freedom to choose the best technologies for solving complex security challenges.

As part of a high-caliber Information Security Team, you'll collaborate across infrastructure, app security, and corporate IT functions. The role offers significant autonomy in identifying and driving security impact projects, including building internal automation tooling and managing terabyte-scale log pipelines. You'll also have the opportunity to work with AI technologies and mentor junior team members.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of software engineering experience, strong programming skills in both scripting and systems languages, and a deep understanding of security principles.
