Ajax Systems is seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer to join their international technology company, the largest developer and manufacturer of security systems in Europe. Founded in 2011 in Ukraine, Ajax has scaled into a global product company, protecting over 2.5 million users in 169 countries.
The role involves working on critical infrastructure that supports the entire Ajax ecosystem, including 135 devices, mobile and desktop apps, and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, with expertise in Linux systems, TCP/IP networking, and various AWS services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Extending and supporting current CI/CD pipelines
- Providing cost optimization plans
- Migrating to new AWS architecture
- Building proactive monitoring systems
- Participating in migration to Kubernetes
- Handling on-duty activities and occasional on-call duties for critical production issues
The position offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and various AWS services. Additional experience with Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, message brokers, and databases is desirable.

Responsibilities For Middle DevOps Engineer
- Extend and support current CI/CD
- Provide cost optimization plans
- Migrate to new AWS architecture
- Build proactive monitoring
- Take part in migration to Kubernetes
- Handle on-duty activities (once per ~1.5 months)
- Participate in troubleshooting and investigation on STAGE environments
- Be available for on-call duties to help with critical production issues
Requirements For Middle DevOps Engineer
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
- Experience with managing Linux-based systems, TCP/IP networking
- Experience with IaC and config management tools such as Terraform, Ansible
- Experience writing code in one or more languages, such as Python, Bash, Groovy
- Experience with AWS stack: VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, Elasticache, Route53, Lambda etc.
- Experience in creating continuous integration and continuous delivery CI/CD with Jenkins CI
- Experience with git, Docker
