Responsibilities For Senior Platform Engineer
- Lead complex projects lifecycle including design, architecture, implementation, testing and deployment
- Mentor less experienced Engineers
- Automate processes for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management
- Collaborate with development and operations teams
- Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD
- Monitor and optimize platform performance
- Ensure platform security and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform infrastructure issues
- Document platform architecture and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements For Senior Platform Engineer
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang and Python preferred)
- Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP, firewalls, load-balancing)
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools
