The role focuses on building and maintaining the Altium 365 cloud platform, which is transforming how electronics design engineers collaborate and bring their ideas to market. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining a platform that supports various software applications and services. You'll work closely with diverse teams, including software developers, security, and operations professionals, to ensure the platform remains stable, scalable, and high-performing.

Your responsibilities will span from building and optimizing CI/CD processes to developing resilient and scalable service infrastructure across regions. You'll have the opportunity to mentor team members, drive knowledge sharing, and participate in strategic planning. The position requires strong expertise in technologies like Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code, along with the ability to create automation tools in various programming languages.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Build and optimize CI/CD process and automation for server provisioning and applications deployment
  • Build resilient and scalable service infrastructure across regions
  • Deploy, monitor and scale application services
  • Mentor team members and drive knowledge sharing
  • Participate in project management and strategic planning
  • Maintain clear relationships with software development departments
  • Plan and document work and projects

Requirements For DevOps Engineer

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE environment
  • 4+ years of experience with Linux, Windows systems
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure components
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Good understanding of microservice architecture
  • Experience in Monitoring k8s clusters, APM, services and AWS infrastructure (NewRelic)
  • Ability to create automation tools in Go, Python, Bash, Powershell
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery tools for microservices
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab or alternative CI systems
  • Coding Experience
