The position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and security credentials, specifically demanding an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and US citizenship. You'll be working with one of the largest distributed systems in the world, supporting AWS data centers and managing critical infrastructure components including servers, storage, and networking equipment.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of administrative experience with Linux or cloud environments, demonstrating proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, and Bash. Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation) and database systems (MySQL, DynamoDB) is highly valued.

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $81,900 to $152,000 based on geographic location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. You'll join a diverse, inclusive team culture that values work-life harmony and provides extensive opportunities for professional growth through mentorship and knowledge-sharing.

This role offers unique opportunities to work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, while maintaining the highest standards for safety and security.
