Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineering & Emerging Technology

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer to join their Platform Engineering & Emerging Technology team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to implement innovative cloud computing solutions and tackle complex technical challenges while supporting U.S. Government agencies. As part of AWS's specialized group working with the U.S. Intelligence Community, you'll be involved in building and operating some of the largest distributed systems globally.

The position is within the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, which drives product innovations from foundational services like S3 and EC2 to new features that differentiate AWS in the industry. You'll support various AWS services including Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps, with a focus on customers requiring specialized security solutions.

Key responsibilities include managing system health, provisioning devices, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing operational support. The role requires strong technical expertise in Unix/Linux environments, automated testing, and system troubleshooting. A current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
