Description For ASIC Design Verification Engineer

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As an ASIC Design Verification Engineer, you'll join the team responsible for defining and implementing digital chip SOCs for satellite communications. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape groundbreaking wireless solutions with minimal legacy constraints.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technology in satellite communications, focusing on modems, high-speed interfaces, embedded processors, and DSP solutions using the latest CMOS generation technologies. Responsibilities For ASIC Design Verification Engineer

  • Implement state of the art verification environment to test RTL against reference Matlab/C models
  • Develop detailed test plans and write tests, run regressions, collect coverage matrices
  • Participate in FPGA validation using test benches
  • Run formal verification of complex blocks
  • Work with design and communication systems team on system level verification
  • Develop automated environment for running regressions

Requirements For ASIC Design Verification Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering or Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in verification preferably in communication systems
  • 2+ years of experience in UVM, C, System C, and scripting
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
