Responsibilities For Automation Engineer - Virginia Beach, VA

  • Serve as the site expert for maintaining automation systems critical for operations
  • Collaborate with various teams in supporting MHE systems optimization and project implementation
  • Maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems
  • Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance issues
  • Provide first-level escalation support for site technicians
  • Facilitate Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes

Requirements For Automation Engineer - Virginia Beach, VA

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent, or 4+ years of professional or military experience
  • Experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis
  • Experience with robotics work cells and control systems
  • Experience with Ladder Logic and structure programming
  • Experience with electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment
