Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer for their Commerce Platform team, focusing on implementing innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Government agencies. This role is part of AWS's specialized service teams working with the U.S. Intelligence Community, building and operating some of the world's largest distributed systems.

The position requires expertise in operational excellence, Linux systems, networking, and cloud services. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex system operations, supporting AWS Commerce Platform services that handle customer billing, invoicing, and payment collection. The role demands an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

As part of Team Mercury, you'll support hundreds of production services and pipelines, working with cutting-edge cloud technologies to solve complex technical challenges. Daily activities include root cause analysis of customer issues, metric investigation, and automation of operational processes.
