Business Intel Engineer II, AOP

Amazon Transportation team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II to join their Analytics Operations and Programs (AOP) team. This role combines technical expertise with business analysis to drive data-driven decisions across multiple international marketplaces.

The position requires a unique blend of technical skills in data engineering and analytics, alongside strong business acumen. You'll be working with large-scale data sets, building analytical frameworks, and developing solutions that directly impact Amazon's transportation operations across multiple regions including India, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll be responsible for standardizing BI and analytics capabilities, reducing redundant analytics workload, and providing real-time visibility into operations performance. The role involves working with various data sources, building efficient queries, and developing automated solutions that help operations teams make data-driven decisions.

Key technical aspects include working with AWS services, SQL databases, and Python for data processing. You'll be involved in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. The role requires experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
