Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, ATS ShipTech
- Work closely with BIEs, DEs and SDEs in the team and collaborate with product managers
- Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles
- Identify opportunities for improvement or automation in existing data processes
- Use best practices on data integrity, design, test, implementation, documentation
- Contribute to transportation operations strategy development based on data analysis
- Lead strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes
- Build and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly business review metrics
- Build data reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, etc.
Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, ATS ShipTech
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
