Description For Business Intelligence Engineer, DSP Analytics

Amazon's DSP Analytics team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to enhance the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program through data-driven solutions. This role sits at the intersection of analytics and business strategy, focusing on improving last-mile delivery operations.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and cloud solutions while developing end-to-end analytics products. Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, DSP Analytics

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of BI solutions for the Sub-Same Day (SSD) DSP Performance
  • Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including stakeholder management
  • Extract, transform, and load data from many data sources using SQL, Scripting and other ETL tools
  • Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis
  • Report key insight trends using statistical rigor
  • Retrieve and analyze data using Amazon's data technologies
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and senior leadership team

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, DSP Analytics

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
