Business Intelligence Engineer II, EU Inbound & Inventory Placement

As a Business Intelligence Engineer II, you'll gain unique insights into Amazon's Inventory Placement systems, processes, and operations. You'll collaborate with planning, operations, and technical teams to optimize connectivity in our inbound network.

The role offers an opportunity to work at Amazon's EU Headquarters in Luxembourg, where you'll be responsible for building and maintaining metrics to evaluate supply chain performance, creating analytical tools for operational insights, and driving strategy improvements through data modeling. You'll work closely with diverse teams including Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists, and Program Managers.

Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, exploring systems to understand root causes, conducting data-driven experiments, and performing large-scale analysis. You'll use your expertise in SQL, data visualization tools, and analytical thinking to drive meaningful improvements in Amazon's supply chain operations.

This position is perfect for someone who excels at understanding complex systems and has a proven track record of analyzing data to generate insights and business recommendations at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, experience in the data/BI space, and proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
