Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to drive performance measurement and innovation in their Last Mile delivery operations in Japan. Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer, LMEA

  • Lead data-driven presentations to executive stakeholders
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to prioritize and define AMZL Japan's data and BI development needs
  • Work with scientists, global supply chain, transportation, and logistics teams
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into operations and business challenges
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends in last-mile logistics
  • Develop queries and visualizations for both ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting needs

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, LMEA

Python
  • 4+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • Business level in Japanese and English
