Amazon's Selling Partner Support Impact Measurement team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to develop robust measurement mechanisms and insights for products impacting sellers' experiences. This role is within the Central Impact Measurement team of Amazon's Selling Partner Support Organization, focusing on measuring the causal impact of programs aimed at improving SP experiences. The team implements advanced causal inference methodologies, particularly synthetic control methods, to enable data-driven decision making where traditional A/B experimentation isn't feasible.
The position offers the opportunity to work with vast amounts of data and a diverse community of talented individuals, making a meaningful impact on how sellers engage with Amazon's platform. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing causal inference mechanisms, data frameworks, and interactive dashboards to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities include contributing to causal inference methods, building scalable measurement solutions, creating effective visualizations, conducting driver analysis, and developing time series models. You'll work with various teams including SP-Support Program and Product owners, Vendor support, One Amazon Support, and 50+ upstream root cause owning teams.
The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $89,600 to $185,000 based on location and experience, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for data professionals who are passionate about using advanced analytics to drive business decisions and improve seller experiences in the e-commerce space.
