AWS Cloud Support Engineer is a dynamic role where you'll leverage your engineering expertise to provide top-tier technical solutions that help customers achieve their goals. As part of AWS's Support Engineering team, you'll work in a follow-the-sun model during daytime hours, engaging with a diverse range of customers from startups to large enterprises.

Your daily responsibilities will include direct customer interaction through various communication channels, deep-diving into technical problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll be at the forefront of cloud technology, working with container orchestration, Linux systems, networking, and various AWS services.

The role requires strong technical expertise in areas like Docker, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and networking protocols. You'll also need experience with web technologies, DevOps practices, and scripting languages. AWS provides comprehensive training and mentorship to ensure your success and growth in the role.

Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer - DevOps, Docker

  • Take ownership of customers' complex technical questions and identify root causes
  • Provide technical solutions tailored to customer situations
  • Communicate with customers through multiple channels (phone, email, live chat)
  • Host technical training sessions and mentor new hires
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Perform troubleshooting using internal tooling
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Business Development Managers

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer - DevOps, Docker

  • Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
  • Linux expertise (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server

  • Experience with Web and Application Server technologies
  • Experience with DevOps and Configuration Management tools
