Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer I (Deployment) to join their Support Engineering team in Japan. This role represents an exciting opportunity to work with cloud technology and help customers innovate using AWS services.

The Cloud Support Engineer (Deployment) position focuses on providing technical support for AWS's container technology and CI/CD services. As part of the Support Engineering team, you'll be responsible for helping customers resolve technical issues, contributing to service improvements, and maintaining AWS's high standards of customer service.

The role involves working with over 200 AWS services, specifically focusing on container technologies and CI/CD tools. You'll be part of the Deployment profile team, which specializes in container services and continuous integration/deployment solutions. The position offers a structured work environment with 24/7 support coverage across global locations, ensuring work-life harmony without the need for night shifts.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Mastering and implementing the latest AWS technologies
  • Collaborating with AWS architects and service teams to improve services based on customer feedback
  • Managing customer communications during critical events
  • Contributing to support process improvements and enhancing customer technical support experience
  • Creating technical content including tutorials and how-to videos
