AWS Cloud Support Engineer - Networking is a crucial role where you'll work with a diverse range of customers from small startups to large enterprises, providing expert technical guidance. As part of AWS, the world's leading cloud platform, you'll handle customer inquiries through various channels, leveraging your networking expertise to solve complex technical challenges.

The role focuses on networking technologies including DNS, load balancing, IPsec, SSL, TCP/IP, routing and switching. You'll work extensively with AWS services like ELB, Route 53, WAF, VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway. Your responsibilities include deep technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and providing solutions that help customers achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities For Cloud Support Engineer - Networking

  • Provide technical advice to customers ranging from small startups to large enterprises
  • Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and instant messaging
  • Troubleshoot and identify root causes of technical issues
  • Work with AWS services including ELB, Route 53, WAF, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway and Auto Scaling
  • Collaborate with internal AWS teams and global Subject Matter Experts
  • Create or guide training courses, write technical articles, and participate in AWS events

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer - Networking

Linux
  • Experience in network/system administration
  • Good understanding of either layer 3-4 or layer 4-7 protocols
  • Strong Chinese communication skills and intermediate English proficiency
  • Understanding of network fundamentals (OSI model, IP connectivity, TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP)
  • Experience with network troubleshooting
