Control Systems Engineer Manager

Control Systems Engineer Manager for Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) at Amazon. This role focuses on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance of fulfillment center operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating work activities for Control Systems Techs/Leads
• Working with various teams to support MHE systems optimization and project implementation
• Maintaining and troubleshooting material handling control systems
• Monitoring MHE metrics and partnering with maintenance/operations for system performance issues
• Acting as first-level escalation support for Control Systems Techs/Leads
• Mentoring Control System Technicians (CST) and Control System Leads (CSL)
• Facilitating Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes
• Performing System Assessments to evaluate material handling system performance
• Partnering with building Operations leadership and vendors for new technology installations
• Communicating technical issues and project timelines with building leadership

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent, or 2+ years of professional or military experience. They should be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Preferred qualifications include experience with automated alarms, reports, and KPI metrics, relational databases, electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment. Experience with HMI and control network components, motor controls, industrial electrical systems, and SCADA systems is highly valued. Familiarity with programming software like RSLogix5000 studio and FT View is a plus.
