Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is hiring for a Control Systems Engineer Manager! Our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is integral to the success of Amazon worldwide. Key job responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and plan work activities for the Control Systems Techs/Leads
- Work closely with building Operations, Operations Engineering, FC Start up Team, AFT Software teams, ACES team, and Safety
- Understand, maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems
- Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance/operations for system performance issues
- Act as first level escalation support for the Control Systems Techs/Leads
- Mentor Control System Technicians (CST) and Control System Leads (CSL)
- Facilitate Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes
- Apply subject matter expertise in material handling and electronic systems
- Partner with other building Operations leadership, equipment vendors and parts suppliers
- Utilize building network support resources
- Communicate technical issues and project timelines
- Assist with skill assessments for the Technical positions
- Handle flexible work load
- Participate in AE conference calls and coordinate with AE central team
- Provide weekly site controls reliability information
- Travel up to 20% post-launch, 50% or more travel requirement pre-launch
