Controls System Development Engineer, Data Center Controls SysDev Engineering - Electrical

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This role is part of the team that keeps the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and their servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The Controls System Development Engineer will be responsible for PLC programming, technical writing, electrical schematic interpretation, and system development for data center controls systems. The role requires expertise in low voltage switchgear breaker control, generator automation, and facility operations. The position involves developing automation sequences, working with multiple teams, and managing global projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in IEC61131-3 programming, electrical systems, and building management systems, combined with project management and leadership abilities.
