Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team is seeking a Data and GenAI Architect to join their team. This role combines deep technical expertise in data architecture and artificial intelligence with customer-facing responsibilities. The position involves working directly with AWS customers to design, implement, and manage data-driven and AI solutions, particularly focusing on generative AI implementations.

The role requires expertise in architecting complex, scalable data platforms and AI solutions on AWS. You'll be responsible for gathering requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and developing strategies for modern data architectures and GenAI solutions. As a trusted advisor, you'll guide customers through industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and innovative data solutions.

AWS Professional Services is a global team helping customers achieve their business outcomes using AWS Cloud. The team works collaboratively with customers and AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud initiatives, with particular focus on data modernization and AI transformation.

Responsibilities For Data and GenAI architect

  • Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs

Requirements For Data and GenAI architect

Python
Java
  • Strong software development skills in multiple languages (Java, Python, R) with extensive ETL and data management experience
  • Deep understanding of Hadoop ecosystem and SQL-on-Hadoop technologies
  • Demonstrated expertise in GenAI, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases
  • Strong track record in implementing large-scale data warehousing solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
  • 5+ years experience in Data Lake implementation, including Hadoop/Spark expertise
