The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Data Architect to join their team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on designing and implementing AWS solutions that meet specific customer needs. The position requires deep knowledge of AWS services and database technologies, with the professional serving as a trusted advisor to customers throughout their cloud journey.

The role involves working with AWS's global Professional Services organization, collaborating with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Key responsibilities include designing scalable solutions, providing technical guidance, and implementing best practices for cloud architecture.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and database technologies, with strong communication skills and a background in Computer Science or related fields. They should be comfortable working with various AWS services and have experience in project delivery and customer engagement.

Requirements For Data Architect, Professional Services

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation, preferably with AWS
  • 3+ years of database experience (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
  • 3+ years experience delivering cloud projects or cloud based solutions
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
