Data Center Facility Engineer (Mech/Elec) - UAE National Only

AWS has an exciting Data Center Facility Engineer opportunity in Abu Dhabi available for a UAE national with family book. This role is part of AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer, you will operate and maintain AWS DCs' world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure following a process-oriented approach. You'll work on challenging problems, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to maintaining the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Following and maintaining the highest safety standards
• Supporting electrical and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Driving innovation while reducing operational costs

The role involves working rotational shifts of 4 days of 12 hours shifts (2 days followed by 2 nights), and 4 days off. You'll be responsible for daily operational readings, supervising contractors, and performing various tasks that may require physical capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or similar technical focus
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory
• UAE National with family book

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, and fan controls
