Amazon is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their Display Ads Finance team, focusing on building and maintaining data infrastructure that powers critical financial reporting. This role combines technical expertise in data engineering with business intelligence, requiring strong skills in database management, ETL processes, and AWS technologies. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while supporting key business decisions through data-driven insights.

The role involves designing and managing data warehouse infrastructure, creating efficient ETL pipelines, and implementing self-service data platforms using tools like Quicksight. You'll work closely with finance and business leaders to optimize data infrastructure supporting various reporting cycles. The position requires expertise in SQL, Python, and AWS services like Redshift, EMR, and S3.

  • Own the design, operations and improvements for the Organizations Datawarehouse infrastructure
  • Maintain, improve and manage all ETL pipelines and clusters
  • Explore and implement latest AWS technologies
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure success of strategic initiatives
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Improve reporting and analysis processes
  • Create and maintain ETL procedures and SQL queries
  • Support development of performance dashboards
