Data Engineer II, AWS Sustainability Technology

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Engineer II to join their Sustainability Technology team, focusing on crucial environmental initiatives. The position is based in Vancouver, Canada, offering a competitive salary range of $103,300 to $172,600 per year.

The role combines technical expertise in data engineering with environmental impact, as you'll be working on the Customer Carbon Footprint Tool that serves tens of thousands of AWS customers monthly. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining data systems that simplify model implementation and enhance visibility into the modeling process. This position requires strong technical skills in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline construction, with at least 3 years of data engineering experience.

As a Data Engineering Leader, you'll have the opportunity to mentor other engineers and guide the team in implementing best practices. You'll play a crucial role in defining the group's priorities and vision, while collaborating with users globally.
