Data Engineer II, AWS Sustainability Technology

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Engineer II to join their Sustainability Technology team. This role is part of AWS's commitment to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040, as part of The Climate Pledge co-founded by Amazon in 2019. The team operates the public Customer Carbon Footprint Tool, serving tens of thousands of AWS customers monthly.

The successful candidate will work at the intersection of sustainability and cloud technology, building data systems that simplify the deployment of new models and enhance visibility into modeling processes. As a Data Engineering Leader, you'll mentor and guide engineers, establishing best practices for data development. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $103,300 to $172,600 per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
