Amazon's Intelligent Talent Acquisition (ITA) team is seeking a Data Engineer to join their mission of transforming the hiring landscape. As part of the Data team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality recruiting data, reusable tools, and analytics reporting to Amazon Talent Acquisition customers. The role involves working with state-of-the-art research, advanced software tools, AI systems, and machine learning algorithms to solve complex hiring challenges.
You'll be partnering with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Intelligence Engineers to transform data into actionable insights. The position requires expertise in designing and implementing stable, scalable environments for data flow from source systems to data warehouses and end-user reporting applications. You'll work with AWS technologies and big data tools to create both real-time and batch data ingestion routines.
The ITA team delivered over 6 million online candidate assessments last year, replacing traditional hiring methods with a merit-based approach. You'll be part of a team that enables Amazon to make correct hiring decisions at scale, working with large datasets to drive data-driven decision making.
