As a Data Engineer, you'll work on building and scaling the data infrastructure that drives Amazon's retail operations in Japan. You'll collaborate with a diverse, global team of economists, scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to identify and implement strategic data opportunities. Your work will directly impact millions of customers through machine learning pipelines optimized for Amazon Japan's retail functionalities.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the AWS ecosystem, including Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, SageMaker, and CloudWatch. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with cloud-based big data technologies.
