The People eXperience and Technology (PXT) Central Science Team at Amazon is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their interdisciplinary team. This role combines economics, behavioral science, statistics, and machine learning to improve Amazon's processes and employee experience. The team focuses on developing scientific models and software solutions that enhance HR functions including workforce planning, recruiting, employee engagement, retention, and compensation.

The ideal candidate will work closely with senior scientists and business leaders to build end-to-end data engineering solutions. You'll be responsible for creating robust data pipelines, implementing AWS toolsets, and developing data taxonomies that support statistical and ML models. The role requires expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL, with preferred experience in AWS technologies.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $118,900 to $205,600 based on location and experience, plus additional benefits.
